30 years in business / health & longevity, with a health curveball in between
A sore back I blamed on jiu-jitsu turned out to be cancer. I built the first version of KURK between rounds of chemotherapy. That company now helps thousands of people manage pain naturally.
In my mid-thirties, a sore back I blamed on jiu-jitsu turned out to be a golf-ball-sized tumour at the base of my spine. B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Going through treatment, I went looking for anything that might help. Turmeric kept coming up. It took me weeks to learn that curcumin barely absorbs when you swallow it. That fact is not contested in the science. It also does not appear on a single label in the aisle.
That gap between what the science says and what the industry sells, became the work. I built the first version of KURK between rounds of chemotherapy.
